Foster Love Project
Foster Love Project began as a way to help provide dignity and care in the process for kids who experience foster care and to also provide support for kinship and foster families who are caring for the children making this transition. The Foster Love Project works to encourage donations of new goods that will help kids who have to change their home with little to no warning, providing them with small comforts.
Members of NPQG are making quilts for the Foster Love Project. The quilts can be made to be suitable for young children, as well as teenagers. The foster children get to select a quilt that will be their very own and travel with them. There is no charge for anything the foster children choose. Check our their website for other ways to help. https://www.fosterloveproject.org/
In October, forty (40!) quilts were donated to the Foster Love Project by guild members. The staff was thrilled with the gorgeous and creative results of our efforts. So keep after it - the quilts are so appreciated.
