NPQG Summer 2022 Project
As mentioned in the June newsletter, it's time for the NPQG summer WORD! project!
It's fairly simple: Make a quilt that includes a word or words.
Bring your completed project to the September meeting. There will be viewers choice prizes! The more the merrier....get stitching and spelling!
To help you out, here are some pdf documents which can be downloaded. One is called Word Alphabets and gives you ideas about where to find alphabets. Seven of them are actual letters so you have somewhere to start. Also, if any of you are paper piecers but can't find any you like on line, I will print your words out of Electric Quilt and send them to you. I just need to know what letters, how many and how big.

- The quilt can be ANY SIZE....mini to king.
- The quilt can be ANY TECHNIQUE.
- It must include one or more WORDS.
- The word can be ANY SIZE .....billboard to tiny message.
- The word can be hidden....behind a flap, in a pocket.....
- The word can be in any language or script.
- And this is silly, but it doesn't even have to be legible, if it still feels like a word or message.
